Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CleanSlate for Instagram Chrome extension ("CleanSlate," "the extension," "the Service"), developed by cFire Innovations ("we," "us," "our"). By installing or using CleanSlate, you agree to these Terms.

1. What CleanSlate does

CleanSlate is a browser automation tool that helps you delete your own Instagram likes, comments, and posts in bulk, by automating clicks through Instagram's own "Your Activity" interface. CleanSlate does not use Instagram's private API, does not bypass authentication, and only acts on content you explicitly select and confirm.

2. Free and Pro plans

• Free plan: up to 15 deletions per day, resetting every 24 hours.
• Pro plan: a one-time payment (currently $9.99 as part of our early adopter offer, regularly $19.99) unlocks unlimited deletions with no daily cap, no subscription, and no recurring charges. Pro access is tied to a license key issued via LemonSqueezy and is valid for personal use on your own devices.

3. Your responsibility when using CleanSlate

You are solely responsible for how you use CleanSlate, including:

• Only using it on your own Instagram account, or an account you have explicit permission to manage.
• Complying with Instagram's own Terms of Use while using any browser extension, including CleanSlate.
• Understanding that deletions performed through CleanSlate are permanent and, in most cases, cannot be undone through Instagram once confirmed.

4. No affiliation with Instagram or Meta

CleanSlate is an independent, third-party tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. "Instagram" is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. Instagram's own interface and behavior may change at any time, which may affect how CleanSlate functions.

5. No warranty

CleanSlate is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. Because CleanSlate depends on Instagram's web interface, which can change without notice, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We make reasonable efforts to keep the extension working reliably and to fix issues promptly when Instagram's interface changes.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, cFire Innovations is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of CleanSlate, including but not limited to any action taken by Instagram against your account as a result of using browser automation tools.

7. Refunds

Pro plan purchases are processed through LemonSqueezy. If you experience an issue with your purchase or the Pro plan doesn't work as described, contact us at ccvelilla@gmail.com and we'll do our best to resolve it, including a refund where appropriate.

8. Changes to the Service

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of CleanSlate at any time. We'll make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes through the Chrome Web Store listing or this page.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of CleanSlate after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
